TASAR is a post-emergence selective herbicide formulated with Imazethapyr 35% and Imazamox 35% WG. It is designed to manage a wide range of grassy and broad-leaf weeds in crops such as soybean, groundnut, cluster bean, and redgram. Effective early weed control helps reduce crop competition and supports uniform crop growth.

The combination of two imidazolinone molecules provides extended weed suppression and improves control of certain difficult-to-manage weeds when applied at the recommended stage.

How TASAR Works

TASAR belongs to the imidazolinone group of herbicides. Both active ingredients inhibit the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, which is essential for the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids in weeds. Once absorbed through foliage, the herbicide moves to the growing points, disrupts cell division, and gradually leads to the death of susceptible weeds.

Recommended Crops, Weeds, and Dosage

Method and Time of Application

• Apply as an early post-emergence herbicide.
• Spray when weeds are at the 2–3 leaf stage.
• Ensure adequate soil moisture before application.
• Use knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat-fan nozzle.
• Ensure uniform spray coverage over weed foliage.

Directions for Use

• Take one-fourth of the required water in the spray tank.
• Add the recommended quantity of TASAR and mix well using a stick or rod.
• Add remaining water with continuous agitation.
• Do not overlap spray for uniform weed control.

• Wear protective gloves, mask, and clothing during spraying.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mouth.
